This is my entry for the "Through the Rift" Stranger Things themed MattePaint.com challenge. Starting from the provided base plate and sky, I did a day-to-night conversion of the base plate, cleaned up the plate, refined edges, integrated a motel in place of a other structures in the plate and added Stranger Things atmosphere elements such as an ominous colored sky, glowing lights, dead trees, fog, and vines. A glimpse of the real world is visible through the rift. I solely used Photoshop for this challenge. I will continue to make updates as time permits.
